Teleconference, 2020-09-16/17
The Resistance Panel on Plant Protection Products met by teleconference, on 2020-09-16/17. The Panel continued discussing the development of an EPPO Database on resistance cases. A prototype developed by the EPPO Secretariat is available as a tool for the Panel to report resistance cases. In the opinion of Panel members, the prototype of the database is now ready to be made available for EPPO member countries to be populated with data. The Panel also considered the database sufficiently stable to allow access for a wider audience to view validated cases. Procedures to make the database available for adding proposed cases and to view validated cases will be developed.
A regular topic on the agenda is the update from Panel members on current and new resistance cases and management strategies in their countries.
